During this time, the safe malfunctioned and they could not access their stuff in the safe either. They then waited outside their room for over a half hour (soaking Wet) to be let into their room and then waited 2.5 hours for someone to come put a new lock on the door, which they never did. So we went out in the afternoon to the pool and when they came back, nothing still worked. They finally sent a maintenance tech who let them in the room but could not figure out what the problem was. They were asked to come down and get another key and it did not work either. All went well until the tried to get into their room last Saturday morning and the key did not work.
We arrived Friday evening and had a nice dinner and planned a full Saturday by the pool and then dinner at Gordon Ramseys place. We normally stay on the strip but they wanted to check out all of the new stuff downtown. Since they were traveling so far, we really wanted to maximize the time we had with them. We went up to LV last weekend to spend some time with a couple that was traveling in from London England.
